Google Lighthouse

Lighthouse is an open-source, automated tool for improving the quality of web pages. You can run it against any web page, public or requiring authentication. It has audits for performance, accessibility, progressive web apps, SEO and more.

Lighthouse allows to quickly get insight on how well a website is built.

To run a audit on google Chrome.

  1. In Google Chrome, go to the URL you want to audit. You can audit any URL on the web.
  2. Open Chrome DevTools by hitting F12 or right-clicking on the page and clicking inspect
  3. Click the Lighthouse tab.
  4. Now click Generate report
  5. The report can take up to 5 minutes

You should run the audit in incognito mode to get a accurate result.
